What is MycoPack?
MycoPack is a new compostable mushroom packaging biomaterial by growing mycelium together with our mushroom farm waste. "Myco" stands for mushroom mycelium, and "Pack" stands for packaging, this mushroom packaging able to to provide a greener and cheaper solution to packaging industry. We have tested our biomaterial rigorously, knowing that it protects your products against heat, cold, and impact. Currently, MycoPack is aiming to replace polystyrene, plastic and cardboard or paper packaging using in packaging industry. Through our patent pending technology, we are able to reduce the cost of this greener packaging solution and make it cost competitive with conventional packaging method. MycoPack is 100% green material made with lower energy consumption that can fully compost within 30-60 days after we dispose into our garden and eventually it will become part of our nature again.

Why we need to shift to MycoPack immediately?
It’s no secret polystyrene or plastic is devastating to the environment. But, do you know how exactly that is so? Polystyrene or plastic – which is made from petroleum, a non-sustainable, non-renewable, heavily polluting and fast-disappearing commodity – is not biodegradable, as it takes thousands of years to break down.
